Professional “Breed Specific” Grooming for all breeds:

• Pure breeds
• Mixed breeds
• Pure mixed breeds
• Cats

Services include:

• Hand scissoring
• Undercoat removal
• Nail clipping and/or grinding
• Expressing anal glands
• Ear cleaning and/or plucking
• Teeth brushing

Regular grooming can detect small problems before they become big problems. 

• Tooth brushing can be a large part of preventable dental care.
• Nail grinding after clipping can help smooth nails and shorten them further without bleeding.

Shampoos

All KDP shampoos are coconut based and gentle enough for weekly use. 

Our treatment shampoos include:

• Aloe moist for moisturizing
• Papaya plus for light conditioning
• Medicated (soothing oatmeal w/tea tree oil) soothes skin from allergies or flea dermatitis
• Hypoallergenic – free of dyes or perfume (for pets that are allergic to them)
• Awaphui white for deep cleansing and whitening
• Oxymed –shampoo and rinse combo – for extreme dryness or allergy dermatitis

Two types of flea shampoo (never dip)

• Pyrethrum based shampoo
• Eucalyptus based shampoo
• Both are safe for puppies and kittens as young as 6 weeks old

Express Grooms

For those nervous pet owners who are afraid to be separated from their friends or those who have a pet with temperament problems we offer an express groom.  Certain dogs can’t handle the stress of spending half a day at the groomers’.  Extremely old dogs, dogs with hip or joint problems, or anything that prevents the dog from standing for long periods can utilize our Express Grooming.  For an additional fee the dog will be bathed, dried, and groomed straight through.  Express grooms must be scheduled in advance with the individual groomer.  Depending on the individual temperament of the pet, the owner may be asked to wait in the reception area.

Prices for Grooming

We try to price by the individual dog.  One Cocker Spaniel may take longer then another Cocker Spaniel so they would be priced accordingly.  We offer discounts for those who come every 4-6 weeks.  Please call for estimates.  All pricing includes toenails, ears, and anal glands.
